It must be highlighted that the lotto has been the foundation of all funds for the club over the last 10 years. We are so grateful for all the committment and dedication shown by our senior club officials such as Tom Denning, Anne and Con McAloon and the likes in raising so much money for both the underage and senior football as well as sustaining the music and Irish language class. As mentioned recently at the AGM many reliable pubs and venues are actually closing down and the lotto is no longer as attractive as it once was. Therefore as a club we need to continue to support the loto scheme and look beyond for other means of fundraising.
It must be highlighted that the club are extremely indebted to several new sponsors. Although the Poker night wasn't as well attended as hoped we did recieve generous financial backing. Through constant badgering from Master Jeff Kelly we are now able to look to the new season with hope, grit and determination. With the funds collected we are able to purchase another new kit, training essentials, insurance, coach hire, contribute to the annual London GAA 'nuisance' draw, and Gaelic footballs.
To our amazment at the AGM Jeff again has pulled out the punches. Through our main sponsor - RUDDY JOINERY, the club in all facets are able to move forward with confidence and not be concerned, well immediately anyway, about finanical demands of keeping the club alive. Thanks to Ruddy Joinery and our other generous investors we are able to look forward and be excited about the new season.
We would like to publicly thank the following sponsors.
